Getting swept by the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals has garnered a lot of negative reactions for Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. The latest, though, comes from New York Knicks wing Josh Hart and his scathing take on the All-Star guard’s performance.
Hart first entered the league as the Utah Jazz’s 30th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He would go on to play the first two seasons of his career with averages of 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 24.4 minutes per game.

After his time playing for the Purple and Gold, Hart was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019, and then to the Portland Trail Blazers in 2022 during the trade deadline of that season. The following year, he was dealt again to the New York Knicks and has stayed with the team ever since.
His best best performance has been in the playoffs of this year when the New York Knicks reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers. In that seven-game series, the Knicks’ starting small forward tallied 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. He also shot 44 percent from the field, 37 percent from deep, and 72 percent from the free throw line.
Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton Gets Roasted by Josh Hart Over Boston Celtics Sweep

Just recently, The Roommates Show headlined by New York All-Star Guard Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart and talked about how their series against Indiana went. In a video shared on the podcast’s official account on X:

In that series, the Celtics shot the ball better, committed fewer turnovers, and went to the free throw line more. Although the Pacers had more offensive rebounds, Boston’s balanced attack on all three levels of the court helped them sweep the Tyrese Haliburton-led squad.

It won’t be until next season when the two teams face again. Hopefully, Brunson is healthy so the Knicks can have a good game against Indiana later this year.
