Apart from Team USA, gymnast extraordinaire Simone is making a lot of waves for her upcoming performance in the 2024 Olympics. Among those who plan to watch her, no matter how expensive the ticket may get, is no other than Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton.
Biles has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics, leading a talented U.S. women’s gymnastics team eyeing redemption after a tumultuous Tokyo 2020 Games. Biles, a seven-time Olympic medalist, will headline a squad that includes Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey, among others.
The team was officially announced a couple of weeks ago at the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials. Biles, the most decorated gymnast in world championship history, will have a chance to add to her legacy in Paris after withdrawing from several events in Tokyo due to mental health concerns.
The U.S. women’s gymnastics team is determined to bounce back strongly in 2024 after the disappointment of Tokyo. With Biles leading the way, the squad is poised to reclaim its position as a dominant force in the sport. The Paris Olympics will provide the platform for this talented group to showcase their skills and determination on the global stage.
Indiana Pacers All-Star Guard Tyrese Haliburton Bares Plan Olympic Plan Involving Gymnast Simone Biles
Along with Biles, Haliburton will soon make his way to Paris as part of Team USA’s men’s basketball team, a squad that boasts Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. The thing is, the Indiana star has a plan in place to catch the superstar gymnast, as seen in an article posted by ESPN.
“I heard it’s really expensive to get in,” U.S. guard Tyrese Haliburton, whose five-year, $245 million contract with the Indiana Pacers begins at the start of the next NBA season, said. “But I think I can make that work.”
Throughout last season, Haliburton averaged 20.1 points, 3.9 assists, and led the league in assists by making 10.9 dimes per game. Apart from leading the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals, the All-Star guard also made the roster for Team USA, giving him the chance to watch Biles live in action.
It remains to be seen whether Haliburton will succeed in his plan or not. What’s certain, though, is that his hefty contract will give him the opportunity to witness history in the upcoming Olympics. If he does, expect the Indiana Pacers star to be in awe as Biles competes in the biggest stage of them all.
