Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton only needed two words to convey his thoughts on a recent anonymous player survey by The Athletic, where he was viewed as the “most overrated” player in the NBA.

“Overrate THAT,” Haliburton posted on his X (formerly known as Twitter).
Haliburton’s post was a shoutout to his doubters, especially after guiding the Indiana Pacers to the second round in last night’s 119-118 Game 5 victory. The two-time NBA All-Star took advantage of the Milwaukee Bucks’ late miscues by hitting the game-winning layup over Giannis Antetokounmpo with 1.3 seconds left.

He finished with 26 points, five rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and three blocks on 10-for-22 shooting from the field in 42 minutes. Haliburton received help from his teammates, as Myles Turner, Aaron Nesmith, TJ McConnell, Andrew Nembhard, and Pascal Siakam added 21, 19, 18, 15, and 10 points.
Indiana Pacers News: Tyrese Haliburton reacts to dad’s “disrespectful” moment with Giannis Antetokounmpo
Tyrese Haliburton’s father, John, went viral for the wrong reasons after Game 5 between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks. After the final buzzer sounded, John Haliburton raced onto the court to taunt Giannis Antetokounmpo, which irked the Greek Freak.

“I don’t agree with what transpired there from him,” Haliburton said via ESPN’s Jamal Collier. “Basketball is basketball and let’s keep it on the court. I think he just got excited, saw his son make a game winner and came on the court, but we had a conversation.”
“He needs to just allow me to play basketball and stay over there, and I’ll come to him to celebrate. But the emotions of the game got excited there. I talked with him. I’ll talk with Giannis. I don’t think my pops was in the right at all there,” he concluded.
