The Indiana Pacers defeated the Miami Heat 128-115 as they move to 17-18 this season. From beginning to end, the Pacers were in control of the lead.
For the Pacers, this was a big win with much of the season’s records setting the key in a game that featured a possibly weak Heat squad in a back-to-back scenario, which Indiana did not sleep on. Indiana shot 53% and at one point in time led by as many as 28 points.
Haliburton’s performance against Miami
Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton finished with 33 points, five rebounds, and 15 assists on 62% shooting from the field. It was probably his best game of the season.
Haliburton is the first player with 30 PTS, 15 AST and zero turnovers in multiple games since turnovers were first tracked in 1977. This is his 13th 30 and 10 game of his career.
How Haliburton played against Miami
Tyrese Haliburton ran a brilliant and poised offense with the utmost precision. This was a turnover-less masterpiece game.
He looked like he could not be contained as he continued to knock down baskets against a Miami defense that played abysmally and closing out on the offense. His ability to maintain such efficiency while scoring and facilitating is truly remarkable in today’s game.
