Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton was voted the “most overrated player” in an anonymous poll by The Athletic last Tuesday, garnering 14.4 percent of the votes. Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was second on the list, with 10 percent of the votes.

Head coach Rick Carlisle couldn’t believe Haliburton received the most votes, which prompted him to speak about it during a recent press conference.
“I saw that list. I also saw that Jimmy Butler and Giannis were on that list. I wanna see the faces of those guys. That’s a bull s**t poll. The whole thing is bull s**t,” Carlisle said via Alex Golden of Setting The Pace podcast. “The whole thing is bull s**t. It’s really a shameful thing.”

To Carlisle’s point, this is unfair for Haliburton since he has become one of the league’s top playmakers. The former 12th overall pick is a two-time NBA All-Star, an All-NBA Third Team member, and was the assists leader last year.
Indiana Pacers got the last laugh in Game 2 vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The Indiana Pacers are up 2-0 in their first-round best-of-seven series against the Milwaukee Bucks following a 123-115 win yesterday, with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark in attendance.

Tyrese Haliburton was one of the team’s standout players with 21 points, five rebounds, and 12 assists on 8-for-19 shooting from the field. Co-star Pascal Siakam had 24 points (team-high), 11 rebounds, three assists, and three steals on 8-for-16 shooting.
It was another balanced effort for Indiana. Besides Haliburton and Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Myles Turner, and Bennedict Mathurin recorded double-digit points with 17, 16, 15, and 14 points.
