    Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers had a pretty surprising season last year, finishing 47-35 overall. Indiana showed some considerable improvement, and managed to win 12 more games from their previous season. The Pacers are coming here after finishing the preseason with a 121-116 win against the Charlotte Hornets. In that game, Indiana’s Myles Turner chalked up a total of 18 points, along with four rebounds and a pair of helpers.

    Players to watch:

Tyrese Haliburton: 20.1 PPG 3.9 RPG 10.9 APG 1.2 SPG

Myles Turner: 17.1 PPG 6.9 RPG 1.3 APG 0.5 SPG

Bennedict Mathurin: 14.5 PPG 4.0 RPG 2.0 APG 0.6 SPG

    Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons sorely disappointed everyone last year with a dismal 14-68 record. The record was not so different from their previous season, and Detroit finished as the worst team in the league. In this preseason, the Detroit Pistons have shown some promise, winning three games out of five. Most recently, Detroit won against the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-82. In that game, Detroit’s Simone Fontecchio managed to put up 18 points, along with a trio of rebounds.

    Players to watch:

Cade Cunningham: 22.7 PPG 4.3 RPG 7.5 APG 0.9 SPG

Jalen Duren: 13.8 PPG 11.6 RPG 2.4 APG 0.5 SPG

Simone Fontecchio: 10.5 PPG 3.7 RPG 1.5 APG 0.7 SPG
