Caitlyn Clark has become one of the most important figures of college basketball, and it’s not hard to see why that would be the case. With the way she’s been playing in her last March Madness tournament, there’s little to no doubt that the Iowa Hawkeyes star will become one of the most celebrated college players of all time.
Her popularity has skyrocketed over the year that it has gone to the point of absurdity. People are becoming more and more interested in Clark’s life that they’re starting to pull off some interesting stunts to feel a connection with the phenom.
Game-used chairs by Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlyn Clark being sold online

According to The Spun’s Andrew Gould, people have become so interested about anything and everything that has to do with the Iowa Hawkeyes guard that they’re willing to buy anything that had anything to do with Clark and her March Madness run.
This includes chairs that she used during Iowa’s games:
Darren Rovell posted about one of the chairs at 9:09 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. Within an hour, the bidding climbed from $156 to $246. As of this writing, the other chair is going for $206.
Both auctions end on Sunday at 10 p.m.
Each auction listing included time stamps, claiming Clark used the chair Rovell highlighted before the game started and the other chair with 1:27 minutes left in the second quarter of Iowa’s win over Nebraska.
That means someone monitored where a college student sat so they could sell the chairs. If that doesn’t seem creepy enough, The Realest is also auctioning a game-used towel from Iowa’s sideline.
Any person who would take the time to think about what happened would believe that anyone would actually spend their hard-earned money just to get something that was used by such an icon.
However, Caitlin Clark can be considered a trailblazer when it comes to women’s basketball. The amount of attention she brought to the game with her play alone. She averaged 32.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 9.0 assists in her final year as a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Fans hope she’ll be able to continue her incredible performance in the NBA, but her legendary college career should make any March Madness 2024 memorabilia cost a pretty penny in the long run.
