Houston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green celebrated his 23rd birthday on February 9, still putting him as one of the youngest players in the league right now. As he celebrates his birthday, his girlfriend Draya Michele took to social media to pen a simple but heartfelt greeting for him.

Michele and Green had been dating since August 2023, making this year their second anniversary.

Green also had one more reason to celebrate aside from his birthday, as the Houston Rockets moped the floor with the Toronto Raptors in a win of 94-87. For the Rockets, Dillon Brooks led the scoreboard with 19 points. Jalen came close with 18 points for the team.

Despite losing, the Raptors did not go down without a fight. Immanuel Quickley led the team with 20 points, but overall, the Raptors were not able to catch up with the performance the Rockets gave for the game.

In a recent post-game press conference, Ime Udoka praised Jalen Green for not missing a game since he has come to the team, despite also encountering injuries along the way.

“I just had quite a few contusions this year, and so he’s played through them all.” Udoka said of Green. “He hasn’t missed any games. Like we said, we commend him for playing through a lot, being tired, and has not missed a game since I’ve been here. Like I said some guys sit out with certain things, some pain, some stiffness. Jalen is not one of those. He has played through everything.”

“He has had quite a few and I talk to the medical all the time. They say he’s playing through certain things, but get him loose enough and he is good to go. So credit to him on his 23rd birthday.”
