Jalen Green’s girlfriend, Draya Michele, seemed genuinely surprised that people are still able to afford eggs amid rising prices of this default breakfast ingredient. Michele took to Instagram to put out a thought as to how she is seeing more and more people show off their breakfast plate, and even asked if they were simply showing off.

Since the start of this New Year, the prices of eggs have gone up 38.64 percent in the United States, irking many, who blame it on the newly formed Trump government. In fact, Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture encouraged people to grow their own chickens in their backyards for eggs. This statement generated plenty of backlash among the public.

“But for real. I see y’all. Yall eating the sh*t outta them expensive eggs. I’ve never seen so many people eat breakfast and show their plates in my life on here… Are we flexing??” Draya Michele posted on Instagram.

Jalen Green and Draya Michele have been together since 2023 and also have a daughter together, Moira, who was born in May last year. While the two seem happy with each other, Green and Michele’s relationship has often been criticized because of their huge age gap. Michele is 17 years older than Green.

Jalen Green And Houston Rockets To Play Against New Orleans Pelicans Next

On another note, Jalen Green and the rest of the Houston Rockets are scheduled to lock horns with the New Orleans Pelicans next. Currently, the Rockets are ranked fifth in the Western Conference after winning 37 games and losing 25 so far in the season.

The Houston Rockets are coming here after meeting the Indiana Pacers and losing the game, 115-102. Against the Pacers, Houston’s offense was led by Alperen Sengun who chalked up 25 points for the team, along with nine rebounds and seven assists. While Tari Eason put up 16 points for the team, Dillon Brooks and Amen Thompson each matched 13 points for the team. Jabari Smith Jr. and Jalen Green each scored 12 points for the Rockets in the losing effort.

The Houston Rockets will be playing two games back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans and next will be taking on the Orlando Magic. In their previous meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans, Houston won the game, 128-111. In that game, Jalen Green was the lead scorer with 30 points, while Cam Whitmore added another 27 points for the team.
