Analyst and sports broadcaster Jason Whitlock recently faced backlash over his choice of words when he gave his commentary on the issue that Fox Sports 1 host Joy Taylor is currently facing.
In one of his older videos, Jason Whitlock addressed the Joy Taylor issue. In the video, he talked about Taylor’s figure and sex appeal, describing her breasts as “big racks” and “big cans,” and her complexion as “peanut butter skin.”
In a follow-up video, Whitlock defended himself for the use of the words he used.
“Joy Taylor, she bought them big cans,” he said. “This isn’t something that was given to her and there was nothing she could do about it. She wanted big cans. And if you ever watched her on Fox Sports, she displayed them constantly. She wanted me, you, and everybody else to notice her big cans, her big rack, [and] put them on display almost every day.”

He went on to explain his reasoning behind the straightforward take and choice of words. Per him, it was so that people, particularly men, could understand the danger of dealing with such things in the workplace.
“Yesterday, after this embarrassment comes up, she puts the big cans of peanut butter back in the pantry,” Whitlock added, talking about how Joy Taylor went back to air after the allegations broke out as if nothing happened. “She covers them up. But I’m the bad guy for noticing and I’m the bad guy for pointing out that and trying to tell young people, particularly young men of any color hey guys this is what you need to be aware of when you step into the work environment and the workplace.”
Jason Whitlock: “Big Cans is not Profane”
After getting backlash from his choice of words, Jason Whitlock gave back the question to the ones calling him out: how are the phrases “Big racks” and “big cans” profane?
“For those of you that are disappointed with the way that I spelled it out, I’m going to apologize to you,” he said. “But I’m going to double down and stand on it because in this moment, that type of raw commentary is necessary so that the point lands with everybody. I don’t think saying that Joy Taylor has a big rack is profane, in my opinion.”
Jason Whitlock can be watched on his program “Fearless,” where he gives his honest commentaries on the latest issues in the world of sports.
