Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown showed how unimpressed he was with how the broadcast team of the Minnesota Timberwolves questioned his shooting skills during the recent face-off between the two teams, to which he answered with a simple, NSFW comment.
Following a shooting slump from their recent games, Celtics shooting guard Brown entered the game against Minnesota and shot threes one after another right off the bat. While Celtics fans considered this a pleasant surprise and a return to rhythm for Brown, the commentators from the Timberwolves’ side were not convinced by the Boston shooter’s display.
After making five straight three-pointers early in the first quarter of the game, Timberwolves commentators Michael Grady and Jim Petersen were not able to cope with what Jaylen Brown was doing and did not hold back in questioning how this was possible.
“Jaylen Brown, who has not shot the ball great from outside the arc, knocks down that slot 3 right there,” Petersen said. “You look at his shot chart, Michael, it is not good. It’s not a green shot chart at all. There’s a lot of red and there’s a lot of white. White is league average, red is under the league average.”
“Career-lows so far this season for Jaylen Brown,” Grady followed up.
Petersen added: “Unbelievable… Coming into this game, literally I would give him that shot.”
The comments apparently did not sit well with Brown and he took to X his reaction to the commentary.
“Hating a** broadcast lol,” he said on his post, sharing the video of the said commentary.

The Boston Celtics ended up beating the Timberwolves, with a final score of 107-105. Jaylen Brown made 29 points for the team, shooting 10-for-18 from the field and 7-for-10 beyond the arc. Backing him up was Jayson Tatum, with 26 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Jaylen Brown Moves to Houston Rockets in Mock Trade Idea
Could the Boston Celtics benefit from trading Jaylen Brown for a new star player from the Houston Rockets? This was the idea explored in a mock trade scenario presented by Sir Charles in Charge, theorizing how the Rockets would let go of one of their star players in exchange for Brown from Boston.
The mock trade idea explained: “In a perfect world, Brown is essentially the player that Houston would want Jalen Green to develop into at his ceiling. However, that ship has pretty much sailed at this point.”
However, the question remains about whether the Celtics would be willing to let Jaylen go, especially since he has proven to be working well as a duo with their other star player, Jayson Tatum.
Jaylen Brown and the Celtics will next play the LA Clippers.
