The All-Star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum has been the Boston Celtics’ engine on the offensive end of the court. After Game 3, though, the latter dropped a powerful message for the Atlanta native as their team now boasts a 3-0 lead against Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks.

Although Tatum and Brown shine as the stars of the show, the entire Boston Celtics roster demonstrates their superiority over the Dallas Mavericks in every possible opportunity. Each player, from Derrick White to Kristaps Porzingis, is performing at their peak potential.

In Game 3, Tatum contributed 31 points, while Brown added 30, leading the Celtics to a hard-fought 106-99 victory over the Mavericks. Despite a fierce rally from Dallas, Boston managed to maintain their lead, bringing them one step closer to clinching a historic 18th championship.

Brown’s performance was not limited to scoring; he also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out eight assists. The Celtics extended their franchise record with a remarkable 10th consecutive playoff win, maintaining a flawless 7-0 record on the road this postseason.

The evident gap in talent between the two teams has been notable throughout the series. Although the Mavericks have posed a threat at times, they have fallen short of overpowering the Celtics. With the franchise’s 18th title within reach, fans are placing immense pressure on their superstar duo to deliver the coveted championship.

After Game 3, Tatum spoke to reporters and shared his mind about their recent match against Luka Doncic’s Mavericks. In a video shared by NBA TV on X, the All-Star forward reassured Brown of his support.

“I just told him I was proud of him. He said the same thing and that we’ve got to keep fighting — we can’t relax.”

Just recently, Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd claimed Brown was the best player on the Celtics, prompting varying takes on the topic. Even if that’s the case, Boston’s stars didn’t take too kindly to his attempt to play mind games with them.

The Celtics need one more win to secure the championship this year. With Brown and Tatum leading the way, the chances of winning it all is stronger than ever.
