Karl-Anthony Towns records a double-double in win over the Miami Heat
Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 19 points and 16 rebounds in 40 minutes of play during the Knicks’ 116-112 overtime win over the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Towns bounced back after a middling effort against the Memphis Grizzlies last Friday night. Still, his score was not the usual number for the veteran. Fortunately for him, his Knicks teammates stepped up to fill his shortcomings during the game.
The five-time NBA All-Star is currently averaging 24.8 points per game, and might only be a matter of time when he gets into groove once more and produce similar stats.
