ESPN sports analyst and former basketball player Kendrick Perkins hit the news for a small blunder on live TV. Perkins appeared on ESPN along with his co-hosts on the NBA Today show. While discussing the showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Twins, Perkins talked about Dave McMenamin’s report.
The former basketball player was unable to pronounce McMenamin as he fumbled while saying his name. McMenamin’s wife, Malika Andrews, was the co-host of the show, and she couldn’t help but burst out laughing at Kendrick Perkins. Everyone on the show was unable to control their laughter when Perkins failed to pronounce McMenamin.
While they discussed the Lakers’ offense and the possibility of winning, it was hilarious to hear Perkins struggle to pronounce Malika Andres’ husband’s name.
The analysts’ mispronunciation quickly went viral on social media. Several NBA fans commented on the post that was shared by “Awful Announcing.” While some fans offered their support to Kendrick Perkins, some of them had a laugh at him. It’s not something Perkins did on purpose. The former player was notably struggling to pronounce McMenamin’s name even after the second time.

Kendrick Perkins Demands The League To Suspend Tyrese Haliburton’s Father
Tyrese Haliburton’s father, John, did something that many people didn’t appreciate. John got into the face of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo right after they were eliminated. Tyrese agreed that his father’s actions were not right, especially since he started exchanging words with Antetokounmpo.

Perkins demanded that the NBA consider suspending John Haliburton for the rest of the playoffs.
“I played 14 years in the league. I wish my wife or any of my family members would have tried that nonsense. They would have been banned from coming to any games for the rest of my career. Matter fact, I’m gonna go deeper. I believe that Tyrese Haliburton’s father should be suspended for the rest of the postseason. At some point you’ve gotta make an example and he has to be the example,” Kendrick Perkins said.
The ESPN analyst further mentioned that John should not have been allowed to walk up on the floor and go against Antetokounmpo.

John Haliburton later apologized for his actions, but the damage was already done, and several fans disliked what he did. Antetokounmpo handled the situation in a professional manner, as he thought John was a fan. The Bucks star stated that it was utterly disrespectful for John to come up and abuse him.
Kendrick Perkins said that there are certain parents living their dreams through their children.
