The Washington Commanders got everyone buzzing on Sunday, including Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant after the NFC East division club escaped with an 18-15 win at home over the Chicago Bears.
That victory was made possible by an unreal Hail Mary touchdown throw by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels as time expired.
Kevin Durant in awe of the Washington Commanders’ miracle win vs., the Chicago Bears

“HAHAHHAA LETS GO @Commanders,” Durant posted on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter) after seeing Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown make the game-winning reception off of a deflection near the end zone.
The Commanders were on the verge of losing the game after Bears running back Roschon Johnson scored a rushing touchdown to put Chicago ahead with just 25 seconds left in the final quarter. Chicago also scored on a two-point conversion try after Johnson’s TD. But apparently, there was enough time left for Daniels to muster a miracle for Washington, as he lofted a 52-yard throw that luckily found Brown.
Daniels collected a total of 326 passing yards on 21-of-38 completions. While it was not the most accurate of performances for a quarterback, no one’s going to remember that as much as Daniel’s Hail Mary.

Durant has been high on Daniels and the Commanders, and he can watch Washington take on the New York Giants in Week 9. As for his Suns, Durant will look to help Phoenix overcome LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at home this Monday evening.
