The Brooklyn Nets are yet to return to a competitive level since they lost Kevin Durant to a mid-season trade in 2023 but at least they now have a future to build.
That is a what a fan account is feeling right now and the profile must be feeling giddy as KD even replied to its post hailing the picks they received by trading away the two-time champion.
According to Nets Frequent, they received 12 first round picks and 1st round swaps in exchange for Durant who is now with the Phoenix Suns.
U welcome

KD, who has been a gift that keeps on giving on X, replied to the post:
“Ur welcome”
The trade occurred in February of 2023 when Nets were deal with injuries to their Big 3 which included KD, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving.

Kevin Durant loves Brooklyn Nets
There’s no bitterness between KD and the Nets.
Most Nets fans are thankful for those KD years which they believe could have led to a championship if only he did not step on the three-point line during their Game 7 showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern semifinals of the 2020-2021 season.
KD is returning the love. He said he is a Nets for life.
“I’m excited to see everybody,” Durant said about his former team last week before hosting them for a regular season game.
“I miss those guys. I’m a Net for life. I’m always gonna say that. I always feel that. It’s gonna be my heart and my blood forever, so it’s always good to see family, people that I grinded with.”
