Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns fell to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, 120-118. During the game, Durant and Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer got into a heated argument, and X user @legendz_nba shared the alleged transcript of their conversation.
In a play during the second quarter, Spencer was charged with a defensive foul on Durant. Following the referee’s whistle, the two-time NBA champion seemingly started talking trash to the Grizzlies rookie.
“I ain’t arguing with y’all,” Durant told the opposing team. “Cooking n****s.”
Durant turned to Spencer, who seemingly said something. “The f*** you talking about?” he retorted.
Spencer stood his ground, saying, “I don’t give a f***.” Durant, however, replied, “Sit your drunk a** down.”

Spencer: “I don’t give a f*ck”

Durant’s teammate Devin Booker also chimed in to say something to Spencer after successfully making a layup. “Soft a** n****,” Booker allegedly said.

All the trash talking did not faze the Grizzlies as they took the win over the Suns. Durant’s 35 points were ineffective in subduing the Grizzlies, who extended their winning streak to three.
Former NBA star proposes sending Kevin Durant to OKC Thunder
Seeing how the Phoenix Suns handled the trade, many believe Kevin Durant could be traded in the offseason. Since then, there have been speculations as to where the 15-time All-Star might end up.

Former NBA player Kenyon Martin recommended that the Oklahoma City Thunder take a chance and sign Durant back again. The former Denver Nuggets star thinks that Durant and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander together would make a great tandem.
“Kevin Durant’s going to go back to Oklahoma City, bruh,” Martin proclaimed. “Listen, I’m moving Chet for Kevin Durant. And be him like he did with the Golden State. He’s too efficient, man. If you put him in that situation with Shai, the way Shai gets to the line, that s*** is scary.”

Durant’s contract has $54.7 million left, and the Suns could benefit from trading him for Chet Holmgren. Moreover, it would give Booker a teammate with a high potential.
