The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors seem keen on adding Chicago Bulls’ Nikola Vucevic to their talented squad. While both the teams have already made essential trades, Vucevic will bring plenty of useful skills to whichever squad he joins. Until date, the Lakers have brought in Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton, while the Warriors have grabbed Dennis Schroder from the Brooklyn Nets.
Vucevic joined the Chicago Bulls back in 2021, and his three-yar contract with them is soon coming to an end. In the current season, the center is averaging 20.3 points in each game, while grabbing 10.2 rebounds per matchup and assisting 3.3 times in every clash. In his most recent matchup, Vucevic managed to chalk up 18 points for the Bulls against the Sacramento Kings, along with eight boards and a trio of helpers.
“The Lakers and Warriors are viewed as the strongest trade suitors for Nikola Vucevic. Both teams can match Vucevic’s $20 million salary in talks with the Bulls utilizing various contracts. Chicago will likely have to end up settling for second-round draft capital on Vucevic.” NBA insider, Evan Sidery tweeted from his X account recently.

Nikola Vucevic’s addition to the Los Angeles Lakers will indeed be beneficial for the team which is currently sixth in the Western Conference after winning 20 games and losing 16 so far. LA will try their best to allow Vucevic to work alongside their star, Anthony Davis. In their latest game, the Lakers played against the Dallas Mavericks and lost, 118-97. In that game, Davis was their lead scorer with 21 points in total, grabbing 12 boards and assisting thrice.

Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James Posts On IG In Support For LA Among Wildfires
On another note, LeBron James recently posted a clip of himself showing support for the victims of the LA wildfires wearing a LA Lakers jersey. The team has postponed two of their home games amidst the ongoing fires, one game against the Charlotte Hornets and another one against the San Antonio Spurs. Hopefully, the next game scheduled against the Spurs will be played soon.

The wildfires are yet to be put out and as of now, 24 people have died as a result. Firemen have been unable to put out the fires, which are hailed to be one of the costliest disasters in US history. In the history of Los Angeles, this is the most destructive wildfire of all. More than 23,000 acres have been scorched, with thousands losing their homes and valuables.
