After winning MVP and the championship twice in her career, WNBA center A’ja Wilson has done it again after the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Dallas Wings. This time, though, she risen through the ranks to become the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.
Wilson, the two-time MVP and star of the Las Vegas Aces, has made history by becoming the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. In a game against the Dallas Wings, Wilson scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, securing a 104-85 victory for the Aces.
Wilson’s career total of 4,301 points surpassed the previous record of 4,300 points held by Sophia Young-Malcolm. This milestone has been described as a “full circle moment” for Wilson, who has been a standout player for the Aces since joining the team in 2018.
Aces head coach Becky Hammon praised Wilson, calling her the “greatest player to ever put on the uniform.” The home crowd gave Wilson a standing ovation, and she expressed how much the moment meant to her, saying “It means the world, it really does.”
Her remarkable performance and achievement as the Aces’ all-time leading scorer solidify her status as one of the WNBA’s premier players. This milestone is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and immense talent, and it will undoubtedly inspire future generations of basketball players.
Las Vegas Aces Star A’ja Wilson Becomes Franchise’s All-Time Leading Scorer
Just recently, Las Vegas made short work of the Wings in a match that saw Wilson make franchise history. In a post shared by ESPNW on Instagram, the WNBA star proved why she’s one of the best players in the league right now.

In 20 games she played this season, Wilson has averaged 27.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.7 blocks per contest. She is also a leading contender to win both the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year this season.
It’s hard to bet against Wilson, especially when she is on fire currently for the Aces. If she keeps this up, a third MVP or championship won’t be far in her future.
