Two-time WNBA champion A’ja Wilson is no stranger to breaking records and winning it all in the league. Her recent three-game stretch, on the other hand, has made a new record for the Las Vegas Aces star and cemented her reputation as one of the sport’s best players.
Wilson is currently on an epic streak in the WNBA that has never been seen before. During the Aces’ 89-77 victory over the Washington Mystics, Wilson set multiple records, including the most games in a season with at least 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the Aces trailing for a significant portion of the game, Wilson’s dominant third quarter performance, where she scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, gave the Aces a lead they would not relinquish. The Aces have now swept their series against the Mystics, beating them by double digits in every contest this season.
Wilson revealed that her motivation to win the MVP award this year is not about seeking revenge after Breanna Stewart won it last season, but rather because of a fourth-place vote she received in the MVP race. This has fueled her to continue leaving her mark on the league and play the best basketball of her career. With her sights set on joining the WNBA’s Mount Rushmore of three-time MVP winners, the Aces star’s historic season is just getting started.
Las Vegas Aces’ Superstar A’ja Wilson Become First WNBA Player to Achieve Crazy Record

Along with making the other records she set in the league this season, Wilson has also accomplished a star no one has ever done before in the WNBA. In a tweet on by StatMamba on X, the Las Vegas star has made league history again.
“A’ja Wilson is the first player in WNBA history to record 3 straight games with 20+ PTS & 15+ REB,” StatMamba tweeted.
This season, the seventh in her career, Wilson is averaging 27.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.8 blocks per game. She is also shooting 52 percent from the field, 38 percent from deep, and 87 percent from the free throw line.

With that kind of production over the past few days, Las Vegas is poised to become more of a problem in the league. The same goes for Team USA’s opponents as Wilson is slated to play in the Olympics later this month.
