LeBron James is known to be a protective father, and recently, the Los Angeles Lakers star could be seen exchanging some unruly words with sports media personality, Stephen A. Smith. Smith is known for his strong criticism against many basketball players, including LeBron James, particularly in regard to his son Bronny James.
Last year, Bronny James was drafted into the NBA by the Los Angeles Lakers, and he and his father made history as the first father-son duo to play for the same team in the same game. However, he being drafted raised many eyebrows, particularly by sports analysts like Stephen A. Smith who called ‘nepotism’ in the NBA.
Since then, Smith has taken many hits at Bronny James, particularly in situations where he did not perform. While the war of words between LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks game was not exactly transcribed by anyone, the sport journalist came forward to reveal as to what was exactly said.
“He [James] was fiery. He approached me during the game and he said, ‘Stop f**king with my son. That’s my f**king son. Stop f**king with my son.’ I said, ‘What?’ ‘Nah, nah, nah, man. Straight up. Man to man. Real talk. Stop f**king with my son.’ And I saw how furious he was. And I said, ‘We can talk about it later.’ ‘Nah, F**k that! F that, stop f**king with my son! That’s my son. That’s my son!’ And I said, ‘Alright, dog, fine.’ And he walked away.” Stephen A. Smith said on his show.
Let’s talk about it.

Despite LeBron James scolding Stephen A. Smith for meddling in his son’s affairs, it is not concrete as to whether the highly-popular media personality will bend to James’ will. Smith is known for his controversial takes, and will possibly continue his antics on television.
