LeBron James is often considered the GOAT in basketball by millions of fans. At the same time, there are many who say otherwise and pick Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player. Still, there are so many others who have Kobe Bryant as their pick. It is evident that this debate will continue till the end of the time.
Recently, retired basketball player, Rick Barry, gave his two cents on this highly-debated topic. As per Barry, LeBron James cannot be compared to Michael Jordan. Instead, he recommends that King James be compared to Larry Bird, as James himself is a small forward.
“Mike (Jordan) was a 2-guard and LeBron’s (James) a 3-man who can play the 1. He’s versatile. He can play the 4 and probably play the 5 on some teams. But he’s incredibly talented, but he’s basically a 3.”
“So if you’re gonna compare him, compare him to Larry Bird during the time when he played some together but, he’s a 3. So don’t compare him to those other guys.” said Barry.
Kobe Bryant plays second fiddle to Michael Jordan in the GOAT conversation AND LeBron James can’t be compared to MJ because he’s a small forward that play point guard says Rick Barry to Scoop B Radio.

While most basketball fans don’t take the player’s position into consideration for the greatest basketball player of all time, there are still like Barry, who take position seriously. For instance, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are also stated to be extremely great players, but they were mainly centers in their teams.
Barry explains that time and the position are essential criteria for determining whether a player is indeed the GOAT. As a result, the veteran states that there is no one such player who is the greatest.

LeBron James Sweetly Interrupted By Zhuri While Coaching Bronny
LeBron James is not only a father, but also a coach to son Bronny James, and tried to squeeze in some coaching time before his son’s G-League debut. On Saturday night, Bronny James made his G-League debut for the South Bay Lakers. Before the game, Bronny got some last-minute tips from LeBron, who turned into ‘coach’ mode almost immediately.
With the entire family turning up to watch Bronny in action, it must have been difficult for LeBron to concentrate. More so when Zhuri, LeBron’s 10 year old daughter, tried to dunk a few shots of her own. LeBron could not help but smile at his daughter’s antics, as she attempted to shoot from the baseline, and ended up making an air-ball.
LeBron James started off his professional course as a baseline jumper. And so, it is no wonder that a baseline jump is what Zhuri and his daughter also attempted. Bronny James also made his first score for the South Bay Lakers as a baseline jumper.
