LeBron James’ recent interview with Pat McAfee was criticized by former sports reporter Jason Whitlock. James appeared on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Wednesday, to the delight of his fans and followers. James discussed a number of topics on the show, including how different media persons portray him and his family on the news.
Jason Whitlock, answering a fan who asked what he thought of the interview, definitely did not hold back. Whitlock remarked that LeBron James’ interview with Pat McAfee was simply a means to get back at renowned journalist, Stephen A. Smith, after the two quarreled in a Lakers game some time back. Whitlcock also went on to call out James for unnecessarily using foul language in his interview with McAfee.
“LeBron wants to troll Stephen A. McAfee wants a great show and he enjoys trolling Stephen A. And LeBron wants to be liked. LeBron put his best foot forward on being likable. The unnecessary and forced profanity undermined it. Cussing unnecessarily while claiming to be a role model is just another of LeBron’s many contradictions” Jason Whitlock responded to the fan through his X account.

LeBron James yelled at Stephen A. Smith sometime back after the TV personality showed up to one of his games. James apparently did not like Smith’s attention on his firstborn, Bronny James, and scolded Smith for this, warning him to stay away from his son. Smith retold the story later on, justifying his stance that he is certainly not out to get Bronny and that he only has the player’s best interests in mind.

In that game, LA’s offense was led by Luka Doncic who chalked up 34 points on the scoreboard, grabbing seven rebounds and assisting seven times, while Austin Reaves managed to contribute 24 more points for the team, with four boards and five helpers. Rui Hachimura put up 14 points for the team, while LeBron James and Jaxson Hayes each matched 13 points.

After taking on the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers will be playing against the Memphis Grizzlies for their next game. In their previous meeting with the Bulls, LA lost the game embarrassingly with a 146-115 final score.
