Richard Jefferson, who has been teammates with LeBron James during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, simply shut down the supposed leaked conversation of him and the Lakers veteran star, in light of James’ altercation with ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media platform X, LeBron James and Richard Jefferson can be seen talking to each other. While what Jefferson said was inaudible and could not be lip-read as he was not facing the camera, LeBron seemed to be talking about the reason why he confronted Stephen A. Smith.
If the transcription of the supposed conversation is to be believed, it seemed that Lebron took offense when Stephen A. Smith talked about his parenting of Bronny.
The post alleged: “I don’t give a f***… Once he talks about: ‘I’m pleading you as a father,’ I can’t.”

However, Jefferson himself shut down these allegations and hinted at the supposed “leaked’ conversation between him and LeBron as something manipulated by artificial intelligence.
“This AI is getting crazy,” Jefferson posted, adding in laughing emojis to his post.
However, fans were not convinced that the conversation was altered by AI.
One said: “Sure, AI. Let that be the reason.”
Another responded: “N**** please who you think we are.”
Another one pointed out: “That’s just lip reading Rich 😆”
Stephen A. Smith Addresses Altercation With LeBron James
In one of his recent videos, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith addressed the altercation he had with Lebron James when the latter confronted him on the courtside, supposedly over his criticism and commentary towards his son, Bronny.

However, in a video following the incident, Smith clarified that his criticism and commentary were never about Bronny.
“I’ve never, ever, ever been about being critical of Bronny,” Stephen A. said on one of his videos. “I don’t want to have a critical word about Bronny James at this stage of his career. It was never about Bronny. I wouldn’t do that to a kid. It was about his dad. And it wasn’t about his dad wanting him in the NBA. It’s about the things he said. And the things he maneuvered and manipulated in order to get his son to wear the same uniform as him.”
The leaked video supposedly revealed LeBron James explaining why he approached Smith, but the Lakers star has yet to confirm nor deny the claim.
