Indiana Fever star and Vinyl BC forward Aliyah Boston was praised by WNBA legend Lisa Leslie for how she played and how she followed through with the coaching advice that Leslie gave her.
In one game of the Vinyl BC against the Lunar Owls BC, where Lisa Leslie was doing the game’s live commentating, Aliyah Boston stood out and made Leslie acknowledge how the young player have been applying her advice.

Lisa Leslie has been playing a significant role in Unrivaled. She has been actively involved in mentoring and coaching players, particularly focusing on skill development and refinement.
During her WNBA career, Leslie for the Los Angeles Sparks from 1997 to 2009. She was a dominant force in the league and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in women’s basketball. Leslie was a three-time WNBA MVP (2001, 2004, 2006) and an eight-time WNBA All-Star. She also won two WNBA championships with the Sparks in 2001 and 2002, earning Finals MVP honors both times.
Leslie made history as the first player to dunk in a WNBA game in 2002. She was also a two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year (2004, 2008) and was named to the All-WNBA First Team eight times.

In addition to her WNBA achievements, Leslie had a remarkable international career, winning four Olympic gold medals (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008) and two FIBA World Championships (1998, 2002) with the USA Basketball team.

She retired from the WNAB at the end of the 2009 season. She was named one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history in 2011 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
Lisa Leslie Shares Honest Comments, Gives Promise to Angel Reese
Aside from working with Aliyah Boston, Lisa Leslie also expressed her desire to help Angel Reese improve her game further.
“I can’t wait to work with you some more,” Leslie said during her guesting at Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel”. “The biggest advice I have for you is going to be how you shoot your layups. We’re going to fix that. That’s fixable for you.”
“I think your shot from the outside is improving, your ball-handling is good, your defense is improved,” Lisa Leslie added. “Again, I didn’t know you well. Just talking to you and just giving you some love. But then hearing you like ‘Yes, I want to learn, I want to work hard, I want to be better,’ my heart melted.”
