Crossover boxing matches is becoming normal these days and the latest to hop on that is LiAngelo Ball who wants to fight Jake Paul, with the approval from his older brother Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls.
The Ball brothers sat down in their own WAE Show podcast and discussed the recently concluded boxing match between the Youtube celebrity and Mike Tyson shown on Netflix. Paul, 27, bested the legendary 58-year-old boxer via unanimous decision.
While it did not offer the quality boxing that not many people expected, it sure did rake in millions for both fighters.

This is what makes challenging Jake Paul attractive for LiAngelo.
“Rumors are Mike got $20 million for this, would one of you all fight Jake Paul for $20 million,” asked one of the hosts addressed to the Ball brothers.
The other host goaded LiAngelo to which the internet celebrity did not disapprove.
“Same rounds though? I need the Mike Tyson set up,” he said
“I need to train though coz he gonna sleep me in a box match. ”
He was then told by the other host that he will need a year to train which he found insulting.
“Aye he hating.”
LiAngelo then insisted that he only need a month or two but even his brother does not approve.
“No no. I’ll take five, six. Six to eight [months]. Ten if they being generous,” the Bulls guard said.
The younger Ball did not give and instead shouted that he is ready to fight in a month as long as it is $20 million.
It was a fun conversation for the Ball brothers and their friends. There is low chance he will get selected by Paul based on his popularity.
Lonzo Ball has other challenge
LiAngelo is bold enough to even think that he can get it on with Jake Paul.
Well, that’s what their family has been like since their reality show. Even Lonzo is bold when it comes to the way he views his team. His take though is more of a challenge than arrogance.
Lonzo, who returned this season after two full seasons of not playing due to knee injury, believes his team can make the playoffs this time.
“I think we got the players and the talent to be really good,” Ball said. “Like, get in the playoffs. I think we can be a lot better than whatever people projected us at, 20-some wins, like I think we can win at least 40 games.”
He did not play on Friday a day after the release of the WAE episode but the Bulls really indeed show how to win with their victory of the Atlanta Hawks.
Lonzo is currently sidelined as he is still nursing a wrist injury. Fans were disappointed with this development as he already made a triumphant come back early in the season. He is currently averaging 4.7 per games with 27 rpg and 3.7 apg.
