Lonzo Ball, Chicago Bulls point guard, recently reacted to his brother, LiAngelo Ball’s ‘Tweaker’ hitting the no. 1 spot on Rhythmic Airplay. LiAngelo Ball, who also goes by his rapper name GELO, released his first hit ‘Tweaker’ last December, much to everyone’s surprise who only knew him as a basketball player.
Unlike his brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo, LiAngelo Ball failed to make it to the NBA. He managed to play for the G-League, showing immense potential in his performances on the hardwood floor.
“Only the beginning,” Lonzo Ball posted on Instagram along with a graphic with his brother, GELO’s achievement.
On the other hand, Lonzo Ball is continuing to play for the Chicago Bulls with whom he has been a part of since 2021. Ball originally started out his career in the NBA by playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, who selected him as the second overall pick in the very first round of the 2017 NBA draft. After playing for LA for two seasons, Ball moved to the New Orleans Pelicans and played until 2021 before moving to Chicago.
Lonzo Ball played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins for a single season and won the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. He also managed to contribute the highest number of assists in the NCAA in the year that he was part of the UCLA Bruins.
