If Lonzo Ball is being picked on, who’s better between the NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Wilt Chamberlain? The Chicago Bulls point guard would pick the former.
Ball answered the ongoing debate between Chamberlain and O’Neal in an interview on the WAE Show. Many consider both Wilt and Shaq to be among the NBA’s most excellent centers.
“I’m going Shaq [O’Neal]. I’ve seen a clip of Wilt Chamberlain – there is no way he was that fast.”
The 2016 McDonalds All-American was interviewed for more than an hour by the commentators
of the WAE show. They were all about delving into Lonzo’s personal life, offseason performance, and ball insights. When he said, Shaq had a better performance than Chamberlain, one of the hosts brought about Wilt’s legendary 100-point performance. Of course, Ball has an answer.
“So you think it happened?”
Even though the NBA officials recorded the game well, Ball never believed that Wilt the Stilt could do such things. Wilt Chamberlain’s basketball performances were just too out-of-this-world that even his late teammates and opponents couldn’t believe the 13-time NBA All-Star.

Wilt Chamberlain is a 7’1″ center who played for one exhibition team and three NBA teams throughout his basketball career. During a match with the New York Knicks, Wilt scored 100 points, having the record for the most in a single game in the NBA. It was one of the most widely regarded and outstanding sports records.
The Big Dipper acquired two NBA championships and is a four-time NBA MVP. Meanwhile, Shaquille O’Neal is a four-time NBA champion, a 15x NBA All-Star, and a three-time NBA MVP. Shaq also won an Olympic gold medal.
Wilt and Shaq are considered two of the greatest basketball players and centers of all time, so like the others, they’re also subject to debate on who’s better.

Lonzo Ball is expected to return for the Chicago Bulls next season
Back to Lonzo Ball, the 6’6″ ft point guard was just from a series of injuries and operations. Yet, the 2017 All-American has no plans to back down and would continue to play for Chicago the following season.
Lonzo Ball had never played for two years because of his injuries. However, his recent cartilage transplant surgery would bring him back to the game. Lonzo would need a Chamberlain or an O’Neal-like performance to get him back to the competitive ball stage.
