When they get to Harden’s age, most players start to deteriorate, but the Clippers great shows he’s different. The former MVP gave credit to his hard work when asked what he believes has contributed to his longevity, pointing out that it is frequently disregarded.
“Work,” Harden said when asked what his secret is. “I don’t feel like I get enough credit for the work that I put in. People want to talk about everything else. That they honestly do not know about.
“Honestly, the work is being put in. And if the work isn’t being put in, then these opportunities wouldn’t be happnening for me. I really love the game of basketball. It’s gotten me to a point where I am today. That’s priority number one.
