The Los Angeles Clippers recorded a 111-105 Game 6 victory over the Denver Nuggets to force a Game 7 in their first-round playoff series.

James Harden led the Los Angeles Clippers with 28 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and two steals on 10-for-20 shooting from the field. Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell, and Ivica Zubac added 27, 24, and 10 points.

Los Angeles Clippers News: James Harden opens up on playing heavy minutes vs. Denver Nuggets
James Harden averages 40.2 minutes per game for the Los Angeles Clippers against the Denver Nuggets in the first round. The former league MVP played 47 minutes in Game 6 – a lot to ask for a 35-year-old – but he managed to have a productive outing.

“Very impressed. He wants to play every night. He’s in great shape. He trains for these moments. He wants to play. He wanted to play, he wanted to compete, and he brought us home tonight,” Los Angeles Clippers coach Ty Lue said about Harden via SI’s Joey Linn.
“Got to. Have to. Have to. It is what it is. It’s a part of it. Whatever the team needs. If it’s 47, 48, overtime, whatever. I’m gonna do it,” Harden told reporters postgame.
