The Los Angeles Clippers will have a few days to prepare for their first-round matchup against the Denver Nuggets. For the first time in a long time, Kawhi Leonard enters the postseason with a clean bill of health.

Former Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley shared the good news by reading Leonard’s short text message to him live during a recent episode of the Pat Bev Pod.
“🥹Pat, I’m happy I made it through the year,” Beverley read from his exchange with Leonard.

Leonard looked like his old self during the Los Angeles Clippers’ 124-119 overtime road win against the Golden State Warriors last Sunday, where he put up 33 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and four three-pointers on 13-for-20 shooting from the field in 47 minutes.
Los Angeles Clippers News: Kawhi Leonard opens up on overcoming his injuries
Seeing Kawhi Leonard back at his best is a sight for sore eyes for the Los Angeles Clippers. According to The Klaw, his love for the game pushed him to get to where he is now.

“I love the game. I love the game. I have a passion for it still. I love to compete out there. That’s pretty much what drives me back. Everything has its ups and downs. You have to go through that in life and just keep going,” Leonard said via SI’s Joey Linn.
After missing the early part of the regular season, Leonard managed to log 37 appearances, averaging 24.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.8 steals on 50/41/81 shooting splits.
