According to Paul George, he has no ill will against his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers. Now that he’s with the Philadelphia 76ers, his primary objective is to do everything he can to help his new team win a championship.
This does not mean, however, that George doesn’t think about his time in LA. In fact, the nine-time All-Star recently dropped a bombshell about how it felt for him while he was representing the Clippers.
Los Angeles Clippers News: Paul George Fires ‘Team B’ Jab at LA
In a recent episode of his podcast, George spoke openly about how he never really got a warm welcome from the people of LA. Apparently, throughout his time with the Clippers, the fans never stopped bugging him about being with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“I think initially, coming back to LA that was home,” he said. “… But it’s not the same love. Because when I was in LA, they’re like, ‘Man, you should’ve been a Laker.’ That’s all I was hearing. … I’m on the B Team. That’s how the vibe and the love felt.”

To be clear, George said that this was how the people of Los Angeles made him feel. This doesn’t necessarily mean that he actually believes that the Clippers are the “Team B” in LA.
