Los Angeles Clippers swingman Norman Powell returned to the lineup after a five-game absence due to a knee injury during the team’s 108-102 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers last Sunday.

The one-time NBA champion only played nine minutes after injuring his hamstring on his return. Powell left the game prematurely and finished with four points on 1-for-5 shooting from the field.
Bogdan Bogdanovic and Amir Coffey received more playing time after Powell left. This will likely continue if Powell is out for the Los Angeles Clippers’ next match against the Phoenix Suns later.

Los Angeles Clippers News: Norman Powell debunks Luka Doncic’s insane Los Angeles Lakers-related theory
Luka Doncic recently joked that players seem to return from their injuries whenever they take on the Los Angeles Lakers, but Norman Powell isn’t having any of that when a fan DM’ed him about it.

“Brotha, I didn’t rush anything to play the Lakers! Think the Lakers mean that much? LOL, totally unrelated to what I was out with before. But hey, you and everyone else knows more than me,” Powell said on Instagram.
The Los Angeles Clippers can’t wait to have Powell back in the lineup since he has been one of their most important players this season.
