The Los Angeles Lakers took care of business at home Monday night, as they scored a big 104-98 victory over the visiting Houston Rockets at Crypto.com Arena.
Luka Doncic, Dorian Finney-Smith and Gabe Vincent each scored a team-high 20 points while LeBron James had 16. The production of Finney-Smith and Vincent off the bench was a huge boost for Los Angeles, which won their second game in a row.

Finney-Smith made all of his six field goals from the 3-point area. That was the same case with Vincent. Together, Finney-Smith and Vincent went 12-for-24 from behind the arc. Doncic appeared to love the approach of Finney-Smith in the game, but also revealed that he reminded his teammate to not shy away from pulling the trigger on offense.
“I just told him today if he doesn’t want to shoot it, I’ll shoot it,” Doncic told reporters after the game about wanting Finney-Smith to keep on taking the shots he’s given (h/t Dave McMenamin of ESPN).
“It feels good when guys like him and Bron are telling me to shoot. Because it could be the other way around … s—,” Finney-Smith said about Doncic’s take.

Finney-Smith, Vincent enter history books in Los Angeles Lakers win vs. Rockets
Against the Rockets, DFS and Vincent made history, per StatMuse:
Fun fact: Gabe Vincent and Dorian Finney-Smith are the first pair of Lakers teammates with 6+ 3P each off the bench in the same game.
One thing about Doncic and LeBron James is that they both love sharing the leather. As much as they are talented enough to rack up points on their own on offense, Doncic and James are also gifted passers, who will always try to find open teammates.
Finney-Smith and Vincent can always expect to find themselves open, just waiting for either James and Doncic to get them the ball.
