Luka Doncic’s early days with the Los Angeles Lakers may have been chaotic because of the drama surrounding his departure from the Dallas Mavericks.
However, one can see with his performances in recent games that he’s zeroed in on helping his new team add to their already impressive championship collection.
Doncic is focusing on helping LeBron James and JJ Redick finish the season with the best possible position on the playoff picture. While they’re looked upon as one of the tougher teams in the West, they’re not considered the biggest favorites to make the NBA Finals.

However, he noted one thing about his stint with the Purple and Gold that will certainly grab the attention of fans.
Luka Doncic reveals he hasn’t had many opportunities to know his Los Angeles Lakers teammates

Doncic talked about life with his new team and how he’s getting along with his teammates. Surprisingly, he’s not had a proper opportunity to spend time with them.
Per Athlon Sports’ Paolo Songco:
“We haven’t even done dinner yet because we’ve had so many games,” Doncic said, via LoJo Media on X.
It’s understandable why Doncic wouldn’t have the time to get to know his teammates better. They’re currently focused on winning as many of the remaining games they have for the season. Spending time with your teammates should naturally take the backseat, as there are plenty of opportunities to know them in the offseason.

Doncic had a fantastic game against the Houston Rockets, finishing with 20 points, six rebounds, nine assists, and two steals. While he wasn’t the only one who stood out during the game, his efforts in the 98-104 victory was essential in helping the Lakers better secure their position in the Western Conference.
