Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has to be the proudest dad in the world right now. This is after witnessing his son, Bronny, fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming an NBA player. LeBron is also over the moon with the fact that it was his Lakers who selected his son as the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, thereby setting the stage for the first-ever father-and-son duo in the league.
LeBron shared his hyped reaction on Instagram after this momentous occasion.

Naturally, LeBron had to jump on the Bronny hype train after the 19-year-old was drafted by the Lakers. For his part, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer had just one word (and a lot of exclamations points for added emphasis) to express his emotions following this monumental development:

LeBron used an old photo of himself during his earlier years with the Cleveland Cavaliers wherein he is seen sitting on the bench alongside a young Bronny James.
Epic.
LeBron, however, knows more than anyone that his name won’t be enough to secure Bronny’s place on the rotation. There’s no denying that the four-time NBA champion played an integral role in Bronny getting into the NBA, but at this point, the 19-year-old will need to work extremely hard to prove his worth.
