After ten episodes, LeBron James‘ “Mind The Game” podcast with JJ Redick was discontinued. This occurred before the 2024–25 NBA season when Redick was hired as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. On Wednesday, fans who had been wondering about the program’s future received an update.
James made an appearance as a guest on “The Pat McAfee Show” and announced that NBA icon Steve Nash would be joining him as co-host for season two of his podcast. The show’s social media pages on Instagram and X hinted at the next podcast featuring the former Brooklyn Nets head coach.

During his appearance at McAfee’s show, James revealed the real reason why he decided to continue the show with a new co-host.
“We got two episodes in the bank, we’re going to get a couple more soon,” LeBron James started. “And we’re going to just continue preach the game. How it’s supposed to be taught, how it’s supposed to be viewed.”
“What we’ve grown to love, why me and JJ did it in the first place, why me and Steve [Nash] are doing it now, is because this is how we grew up loving the game,” he continued. “This is what brought us together. This is what the essence of the game should be taught to, to not only the generation that’s playing now, but the generation that’s gonna come up after us.
“So, Mind The Game season 2 coming, man.”

The Los Angeles Lakers won against the Indiana Pacers due to LeBron James’ late-game heroics

The Los Angeles Lakers snapped their three-game losing streak on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. Los Angeles had a 120-119 victory, which came from a last-second tip from LeBron James. With the game on the line, All-Star guard Luka Doncic had a chance to win the game with his floater.
However, the Slovenian star missed the shot. Fortunately for the Lakers, James was active on the boards and had a last-second putback shot to lead the team to victory. Watch the video below to see the heroics of the four-time champion.
