The Los Angeles Lakers lost 126-106 to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday after a difficult contest. Their loss against the Bucks was their third straight defeat since the Boston Celtics ended their eight-game winning streak. The Lakers also played for the second time in a row after LeBron James’ groin injury.
All-Star guard Luka Doncic tried his best to lead the Lakers with his 45 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Slovenian star made the most of his shots and finished with a 51.9% shooting from the field. Doncic was also a threat from beyond the arc as he shot 7-for-13 from there. However, it wasn’t enough to defeat the Bucks.

After the game, Doncic talked about the recent stretch of games the Lakers have had. Tomorrow, they will play the second game of their back-to-back against the Denver Nuggets. After that, the team will have one day of rest before playing their second back-to-back, which is against the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs.
After that, they will take another day off before playing their third consecutive game in eight days. The Lakers’ opponents will be the Bucks and the Nuggets.
“I don’t think I’ve ever went through something like that. But at the end of the day, we’re getting paid to do that and there shouldn’t be any excuses that you’re tired. You live for this. Just gotta have great recovery after every game and just keep going,” Doncic said.

The five-time All-Star isn’t sure if he’ll play against Denver on Friday. Doncic played 35 minutes against the Bucks and the Lakers have been cautious in handling his time on the floor.
The Los Angeles Lakers star talked about his 45-point game against Milwaukee

It’s always nice to see Luka Doncic take over a game. Whether it is through his scoring, passing, or rebounding, fans never grow tired of watching him dominate a game. However, winning games is more important for the Los Angeles Lakers star.
Following Los Angeles’ loss, he addressed his 45-point game. According to Doncic, his performance doesn’t matter since the team didn’t get the win.
“It was OK. But nothing matters if we lose the game. At the end of the day, it’s a team sport and you gotta be all together. Whatever somebody does it great, but at the end of the day you gotta win and we didn’t do that tonight,” Doncic said.
