Here are some of the reactions from fans online about that airball moment:
“The cool thing is that we get to see what an average high school athlete would look like in the NBA”
“A walking brick….worse than Darko? 🤔”
“Yeah it was a cool story for a second but this is actually such a joke . Watched their game yesterday and to see he looks like he doesn’t belong is the understatement of the year”
“Honestly, I would have been cheaper and I could have done this for the Lakers.”
“I suck at basketball I have never airballed a shot from that spot in my life”
“What a team leader and locker room glue! Can we give him even more air time pls?”
Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James will be better
The son of Lakers superstar forward LeBron James, Bronny has been under intense scrutiny from fans on social media who will not stop on anything regardless of how big or small the former USC Trojans guard does on the court. For a 55th overall pick, people don’t seem to have fair expectations of Bronny.

Lots of fans seem to expect superstar play right away from him. Against Miami, Bronny finished with just three points on 1/3 shooting from the floor but contributed five rebounds, three steals, two assists, and three blocks in 29 minutes of action.

Bronny should get better the more experience he gets in the NBA, whether it’s in the Summer League, practice, or in the real season that’s about to come in October.
