Los Angeles Lakers News: Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown recently went viral after lip-readers discovered his way-too-honest thoughts about Bronny James. Apparently, the reigning NBA Finals MVP does not think that the 19-year-old looks like a pro — a statement that he made while watching Bronny’s Summer League game against Boston.
One man who clearly remembers that dig is Oklahoma City Thunder big man Chet Holmgren, who decided to have a bit of fun after seeing James make waves in LA’s 93-89 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

After watching Bronny put up 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in Thursday’s victory, Holmgren gave the Lakers’ second-round pick his flowers. According to the Thunder big man, James looked like a pro in his eyes, which is clearly a reference to Brown’s earlier jab.

To be fair to Holmgren, Bronny did look like he belonged on Thursday night as he, along with fellow rookie Dalton Knecht (20 points, seven rebounds), led the Lakers to their second straight NBA Summer League victory.
Bronny and the Lakers will be back in action on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls and you can be sure that all eyes will be on the former USC guard yet again. Let’s see what Holmgren will have to say after Bronny’s performance against Chicago.
