Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James has yet to spend a single second in an NBA game, but he’s already generated enough attention to fill an entire season. In one of the latest Bronny James-related things that have captured the attention of social media, the son of Lakers forward and future Basketball Hall of Famer, LeBron James, is an ad for the 2024 Summer League in Las Vegas.
The pictures of Bronny and the second-overall pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, Alex Sarr, who was taken by the Washington Wizards, can be seen on the said ad but interestingly enough, the top overall pick, Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks), isn’t on it.

Fans are split about latest NBA Summer League ad that has Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James
Many fans have voiced their opinions about the said ad. Some think that as a 55th overall pick, Bronny shouldn’t have been on it and there must have been a more deserving player to be there than the former USC Trojans guard. Meanwhile, others believe that it shouldn’t be a big issue since Bronny is easily one of the most recognizable faces among all rookies, regardless of which spot he got taken off the board.
“Bronny’s debut this Saturday will be insane
“Good marketing, most known player in the draft”
“Why? He sucks. Nepotism at its worst”
“55th pick never had so much media attention”
“What a shame. There are so many more deserving players who actually earned the right to be there.”
“Casual fans know bronny, serious fans are the minority and ain’t spending causal fan money”
“Everyone with that fake outrage knows they tuning in on Sunday lmfaoooo”
