Los Angeles Lakers news: There’s no bigger name in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft than Bronny James. He’s far from being the most talented prospect in the second round, but the fact that he’s the son of LeBron James has caused a whole ruckus surrounding his draft narrative.
This is exactly why the basketball world went a little bit crazy after the Lakers decided to scoop Bronny up as the No. 55 overall pick, thereby uniting him with his dad in Hollywood.
Los Angeles Lakers News: Bronny James’ First Social Media Activity After Draft
Bronny took to Instagram not long after he was officially drafted by the Lakers. In his first social media post, the 19-year-old expressed his gratitude by sharing the Lakers’ welcome post for him, while accompanying it with a very apt caption that read, “Beyond Blessed.”

Bronny was seen holding back the tears as he heard his name called in the draft. He was with his closest family and friends during the momentous occasion, and it comes as no surprise that the young man was overcome with emotions.
After all, you would probably be a bit emotional as well after achieving something that you have worked so hard for for many years.
