LeBron James just played his 21st season in the NBA and it looks like he can play a couple more. But before he can play in his 22nd year in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers All-Star forward just dropped a handy piece of advice to athletes when it comes to taking care of their bodies.
James first entered the league in 2003 as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ number one pick and with so much hype due to his high school career. With the NBA devoid of any central star to carry it, the King’s time with the Cavs centered mostly on his chances of winning the franchise their first ring.

After failing to do so in seven years, James shocked the world by teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to play for the Miami Heat in 2010, which resulted in a pair of championships. Once his job was done there, the King made good on his promise to deliver a ring to Cleveland by winning one in 2016.
The 20-time All-Star replicated this feat in 2020 when he and big man Anthony Davis won the championship in the Bubble for the Lakers. Since then, though, Los Angeles has failed to reach the Finals. Even if that’s the case, the four-time NBA champion has been an iron man mostly in his time in the NBA due to lasting this long with minimal injuries.
Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James Hands Out Power Body Care Advice

With his 22nd season coming soon, there’s a chance James will become a free agent soon. Even if he has played this long in the league and his next team will face the risk of signing an older version of himself, the King has proven time and time again how his body can hold up in the NBA. In a recent post on social media, four-time MVP shared some handy body care advice to athletes.

As it stands, James played a total of 71 regular season games out of 82. During that stretch, he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest. Factoring in his age and on-court production, people will be surprised at how he’s still playing at a very high level.

It remains to be seen whether James will stay in Los Angeles or sign up with a new team to play with Bronny. In any case, staying this long in the NBA and playing the way he has is already an accomplishment in itself.
