Los Angeles Lakers: While the greater majority of the basketball world is celebrating the fact that LeBron James has once again made history by becoming the first-ever father-and-son duo in NBA history now that Bronny James has been drafted by the Lakers, there are still more than a few naysayers who are frowning at the concept.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has heard the backtalk and the renowned NBA insider has a blunt message for anyone and everyone who’s calling out LeBron’s influence on this major decision by the Lakers.
Los Angeles Lakers News: Woj Chimes in on Nepotism Claims Against LeBron, Bronny James
Woj dropped a massive truth bomb addressing the whispers about LeBron supposedly having a part to play in the Lakers’ decision to use their second-round pick on his son. The truth of the matter is that it’s impossible that James did not have anything to do with it, and Woj has no problem with this whatsoever:
“I don’t want to hear these charges,” Woj said. “People talking about nepotism. The NBA is full of nepotism. The ownership level, front offices, and coaching. I don’t want to hear about it all of a sudden because Bronny James’ father plays for the Lakers. It is rampant in this league.”

I see no lies here.
As Woj said, nepotism is indeed widespread throughout all levels of the NBA. It just so happens that it’s only now that a father-and-son duo will be playing on the same team, which quite honestly, is a nod to LeBron’s unprecedented longevity more than anything else.
