Los Angeles Lakers news: While half of the basketball world (or maybe more?) has once again been left in awe by LeBron James’ most recent career accomplishment, the other half has criticized the NBA’s all-time leading scorer for his role in the Lakers drafting his son, Bronny.
Bonafide LeBron hater Skip Bayless has now chimed in on this polarizing issue, and the 72-year-old had quite a surprising take.

If you thought that Skip was going to go scorched earth on LeBron for supposedly influencing the Lakers to draft his son, then you’re absolutely wrong. It’s actually the exact opposite.
According to Bayless, LeBron “earned the right” to be in the position he is in, while Bronny was “born to play with his father.”
LeBron James has earned the right to make what just happened happen. He will play professional basketball with his oldest son, who was born to play with his father. Bronny's game perfectly complements LeBron's. 3&D. High IQ, low ego. Shares dad's feel for the game. Can't wait.

Apparently, a tweet was not enough for Skip to share his thoughts on the issue at hand. He even published a video wherein he slammed anyone and everyone who’s called out LeBron and superagent Rich Paul for supposedly “bullying” the NBA in order for Bronny to land with the Lakers:

While this isn’t the first time Bayless has gone out of character by praising LeBron, more than a few folks out there were surprised by this type of reaction from the renowned sports analyst.
Could Skip finally be changing his tune on James? I wouldn’t count on it.
