Lucy Olsen, Iowa Hawkeyes guard, recently opened up about her excitement at the prospect of facing the USC Trojans in the Elite Eight rounds of the upcoming March Madness tournament. Iowa did play against USC in early February and won the game, and will surely hope to repeat the win in their next face-off.

Olsen has been playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes since last year, and before that she played for the Villanova Wildcats from 2021 to 2024. Before that, the 21-year-old basketball center played high school basketball for Spring-Ford in Pennsylvania. In a recent Instagram post by ‘We Need To Talk’, Olsen was recorded remarking that it would be indeed exciting to play another game against the USC Trojans, hinting back to their most recent matchup where Iowa won stunningly.

“Yeah, there are so many teams that made it to the tournament. USC, that would be exciting. I mean, that was a crazy game in general. So to play them again would be really cool,” Lucy Olsen said according to ‘We Need To Talk’.
