Lucy Olsen, Iowa Hawkeyes guard, was recently named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team, and her teammate, Callie Levin was too happy for her. Levin commended Olsen in an Instagram post, which listed Olsen along with Lauren Betts from UCLA, JuJu Watkins and KiKi Iriafen from USC, and Syla Swords from Michigan.
It is true that Lucy Olsen has been spectacular for the Iowa Hawkeyes in this college basketball season, and is leading their offense with an 18.0 point average per game. Hannah Stuelke is the second lead scorer for Iowa with a 12.8 point average, while Addison O’Grady is third highest with a 9.7 point average.
“Miss big time!” Callie Levin posted on her Instagram, sharing the story by the Big Ten handle.
With Lucy Olsen taking charge of their offense, the Iowa Hawkeyes finished their regular season in eighth place of the Big Ten table with a 10-8 conference score and 22-10 overall. The table is ruled by the USC Trojans, who have a 17-1 conference score and 28-3 overall.

The Iowa Hawkeyes were paired with the Wisconsin Badgers for their final game of the regular season and won with a final score of 81-66. In the Big Ten playoffs, Iowa took on the Wisconsin Badgers, the Michigan State Spartans and finally the Ohio State Buckeyes. Iowa put up pretty easy wins against Wisconsin and Michigan State in the Big Ten tournament, with 81-54 and 74-61, but lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the finals with a very tight 60-59.
Lucy Olsen And Mom Dance In TikTok Video Along With Teammate
Meanwhile, Lucy Olsen could be seen dancing in an adorable TikTok video with her mother, Kelley Olsen, along with her Iowa teammate, Taylor Stremlow, who also shook her leg with her mom, Sarah Stremlow. The mother-daughter pairs caught the eyes of numerous fans, especially their own teammates like Kylie Feuerbach, who commented that “they were made for this”.

Lucy Olsen could not be happier with her performance this college basketball season, and her mother definitely echoes her sentiments as well. Olsen has been electric for the Iowa Hawkeyes this year, and has taken the team to greater heights as the squad now waits for Selection Sunday for their schedule in the NCAA Tournament which will kick off in a few days.

Lucy Olsen has been playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes only since last year, and before that was part of the Villanova Wildcats from 2021 to 2024. She has also represented the USA team internationally, and won the gold medal in the 2023 FIBA 3×3 U23 Nations League Final.
