Businessman and Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban got honest about why he voted for Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the last presidential elections.
In his appearance at “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” Mark Cuban was asked by Stephen A. Smith why he voted for Kamala Harris in the last US presidential elections.
Cuban’s response was simple and straightforward.
“Because she wasn’t Donald Trump”
When asked by Smith about his political identity, whether her is a Republican or a Democrat, Cuban clarified that he is an independent.
Mark Cuban was a vocal supporter of Kamala Harris during the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Cuban praised Harris for her leadership qualities, describing her as “strong, smart, and measured,” and highlighted her focus on policies that he believed would benefit small businesses. He actively campaigned for Harris, particularly in key swing states, and became one of her most prominent capitalist surrogates.

Mark Cuban Got Honest on His Take on The Luka Doncic
In the same interview, Stephen A. Smith asked Mark Cuban about the most pressing questions about what people consider to be the biggest trade in the NBA this seas: the Luka Doncic trade. When asked if he had any say before the trade got the green light, Cuban admitted that he only knew after it was done.
“I was like, you’re asking me, right? This isn’t done? And he was like, no it is done. And I was like, okay, you know, nothing more to talk about, I wouldn’t have done this but you know, thanks for the call.”
He later revealed it was Nico Harrison, the Mavs general manager, who called him.

Cuban also addressed the criticism Doncic faced, with some people calling him out for his weight, his build, and his alleged “laziness.”
“Everybody saw him,” Cuban said. “It wasn’t like he was ripped and had a six-pack but I think that the biggest mistake was trying to understand Luca is. He’s Slovenian, there’s just a different mindset. They look at the game differently, they look at life differently and I think that was what was not considered as fully as it should have been.”
“From that part of the world, in my experiences, Luca was just, other than the basketball talent, he was just like every other guy.”

Mark Cuban used to be the majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks but has since sold his stakes in the franchise. He still, however, remains a minority owner.
