The buzz around the NBA right now? Giannis Antetokounmpo’s uncertain future with the Milwaukee Bucks after their shocking first-round exit to the Indiana Pacers. And if you ask Jake Cuban—yes, Mark Cuban’s teenage son—he’s convinced Giannis is gone for good.
On Sunday, Giannis posted a photo on Instagram rocking a Bucks tee that read “Win for Cream City.” Jake wasted no time jumping into the comments with a savage take:
“Buddy’s long gone 😂”
Jake, just 15, knows the sting of NBA shakeups. Earlier this year, his favorite player Luka Dončić was traded from the Mavs to the Lakers in a blockbuster move. Still loyal, Jake posted “Rockin 77 till I die” after the deal.
His comment on Giannis isn’t just teenage trolling—it echoes growing speculation across the league. Just a week before Milwaukee’s early playoff exit, NBA insider Chris Haynes dropped a warning:
“I don’t think Giannis will finish his career in Milwaukee… Wholesale changes are coming if they don’t make a deep run in the playoffs—front office, coaching staff.”

Haynes even floated the idea of the Bucks going in a new direction via a trade, should things fall apart. And after that Pacers series? Things definitely fell apart.
Jason Kidd Takes a Page from Mark Cuban—in the Premier League
While Giannis rumors swirl, Mark Cuban’s influence is crossing the Atlantic. Former Mavs head coach and NBA Hall of Famer Jason Kidd has been announced as a new minority owner of Premier League club Everton.
The April 24 announcement makes Kidd the latest American sports figure to invest in English football, joining the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Michael B. Jordan, and Michael Phelps.

Kidd says he’s taking cues from his old boss:
“I’ve taken notes, being around the Cubans of the world… understanding what it means to be a successful owner,” he shared. “Hopefully, I can do that and have that opportunity with the Friedkin Group.”

He’s set to attend Everton’s emotional final game at Goodison Park on May 18 against Southampton—a historic farewell to the club’s home of 133 years.
“I just want to sit in there and absorb it,” Kidd said, excited to soak in the songs, the atmosphere, and the emotion from the Everton faithful.

Surprise fact? Soccer was actually Kidd’s first love. “A lot of people don’t know that soccer was my first sport… so it was really my first love,” he revealed. Now part-owner of one of England’s most historic clubs, Kidd’s full-circle moment has arrived—with a little Cuban flair.
