The Memphis Grizzlies are on a three-game losing streak following last night’s 117-103 home loss against the Boston Celtics. It’s been a rough week for the team and their fans, but Jaren Jackson Jr. shared an eye-opening take on their recent struggles.

“We’ve had wins, we’ve had losses, ain’t no reason to feel crazy,” Jackson told reporters via Bluff City Media Grizzlies on X (formerly known as Twitter). “It always could be worse, you could be homeless.”
Jackson was one of the Memphis Grizzlies’ bright spots against the defending champions, notching 20 points and 15 rebounds on 8-for-16 shooting from the field in 33 minutes.

Memphis are 3-7 in their last 10 games, and they recently fired head coach Taylor Jenkins after six years of service. Despite these, they’re still the fifth seed in the ultra-tough Western Conference with a 44-31 record.
Memphis Grizzlies fans react to Jaren Jackson Jr.’s take
Jaren Jackson Jr.’s response drew mixed reactions from Memphis Grizzlies fans, though most agree that the former Defensive Player of the Year could’ve worded his take better.

“I think he meant it sincerely about keeping everything in perspective & not losing sight of the big picture in this life. That it’s just a 🏀 game. But, some frustration came through which, well, is understandable given everything. Oh well. Moving on,” wrote a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“I always defend my guy, but this one’s gonna be tough.”
“Probably the worst answer he could’ve given. But great insight nonetheless.”
“I wonder if the firing of Jenkins and the recent struggles could lead to Jaren wanting out 😔 idk but it’s definitely something to think about looking forward hopefully I’m wrong,” another fan added.
